Private lessons at Valmont Farms - Whitemore, Tasmania
Become the best rider for your horse.
It is well known that our horses compensate for us all the time, both physically and mentally. If the rider is uneven the horse will adjust, which often leads to bracing, tension and crookedness. What a lot of coaches identify as horse training issues are often simple rider position and balance issues.
We all want the best for our horses and therefore happiness and comfort are of huge importance. Understanding your own position in the saddle and recognising the subtle imbalances in our seat that can negatively impact our horses movement will help to become a more balanced and effective rider which allows more harmony and connection with our horses.
Being a balanced rider helps not only your training but more importantly, it improves your horses balance and physical soundness.
"Balanced Rider, Happy Horse."
Here is some rider feedback:
"The first clinic in July was a huge breakthrough for me as I have been battling with issues which I believed were related to my position, however none of the coaches that I had been using had actually found the basic problem. However within minutes with you I started to see some light. Equally my students who attend the clinic found huge benefits both physically and psychologically.
I am so delighted that I was told about your work and have been able to access some of your knowledge. It is wonderful to be able to use a coach who is knowledgeable and able to correct basic position problems in an easy and effective way. I love the way you are not judgmental about the riders you teach and look forward to continuing to train with you. My horses are very pleased as well!
Kind regards
